Girl, Go To Bed

Updated: Mar 18, 2021

You need sleep.

I’ve spoken to a number of busy + badass entrepreneurs this week who are all exhausted, and yet still feel guilty for needing to REST.

You CAN NOT show up as your best self if you aren’t getting enough sleep.

You CAN NOT do your best work if you can barely keep your eyes open.

You CAN NOT be the wife, mom, friend, business owner you want to be when you’re exhausted.

You WILL make careless mistakes if you are sleep deprived.

You WILL prevent your business from reaching it's fullest and greatest potential if you aren't well rested.

Staying up late consistently, burning the midnight oil and burning the candle at both ends actually ends up being super counterproductive. You will actually get less done, be less productive, and less creative if you’re running on fumes.

Girl, GET SOME SLEEP.

Sometimes taking a nap is the best use of your time. For real.

If you’re navigating motherhood or dealing with sleep regressions, now is not the time to decide to start a 4am morning routine.

If you’re dealing with school germs and sickness and no one in your house is sleeping, it’s okay to go back to bed instead of working on social media.

If you’re exhausted because we’re living through a pandemic and life is just hard and heavy right now in this season, go to bed and finish the to do list tomorrow.

There is no award for working the most with the least amount of sleep. There’s no prize for being the most sleep deprived.

How many hours of sleep a night are you getting these days??
