After an unplanned 90 day break from the blog I am BACK. Hello friends. I’ve missed ya.
I didn’t stop blogging because I ran out of things to say, or because I didn’t want to share with you.
I put blogging on hold because I know I can’t do it all, all the time. I just can’t. I used to try to do it all, all the time, no matter what else was going on in life and it made me sacrifice health and sleep and happiness. And honestly, blogging isn’t the most important part of my marketing and so when I had to choose what to stop doing my decisions were easy - drop the blog, drop the emails, drop Pinterest and lower the frequency on socials. I know what you’re thinking - Maggie that sounds like you just STOPPED doing everything. I didn’t. I still posted 2x a week on Instagram and Facebook, still engaged, still grew, had a successful launch (twice) and signed new 1:1 clients.
Over the last 90 days we have…
Started and built and opened a brick and motor business in Atlanta
Traveled back and forth to Atlanta every other weekend
Magnolia started preschool
Tim traded his stay at home dad title for a job
We became semi-stationary in Hoover
I launched a VA course TWICE
Celebrated my birthday
Spent time with friends and family
Traveled to SC for a long weekend
Visited the lake…TWICE
Bought a lake house
Looked at a.million rental houses
I am determined to keep the most important thing the most important thing..and guess what? My business will never ever ever be the most important thing.
The next time you find yourself overwhelmed with an overflowing plate and you feel as if you’re trying to juggle it all —— know what balls are plastic that you can drop them, and keep the most important thing the most important thing. You don’t have todo it all.
I am so excited to be back on the blog (and Pinterest and FloDesk) and so incredibly thankful for my business, my clients, and my community.
