What's your why?
Did that prompt an immediate response, or are you still thinking about it?
If you don’t have a quick answer to this question, we have some work to do friend!
Maybe you had a why when you started your business that has become a bit blurry now that you’re further along.
Maybe you just wanted to desperately leave your 9-5 and now that you’ve done that, you’re not really sure what your big why is.
Maybe you’re just starting and the excitement of clients has made your why less clear as you continue to say yes to everything that comes your way without stopping to think if it’s in alignment with what you really want.
If this is the case, that’s ok, we all struggle and get off track from our why from time to time. But now you need to regroup and get super clear on this.
You might be wondering why I’m so determined to get you to figure this out. Because your why is what should be guiding everything you do in your business. It’s your north star.
It’s what determines what clients you take on.
It’s what helps you set clear boundaries.
It helps you decide when to say yes and when to say no.
It’s what will stop you from sacrificing your health and wellness to send “just one more email.”
It’s what will have you taking those vacation days and closing your laptop when your baby is home sick.
It. Is. Everything!
See how powerful it is? This is why I want you to get super clear on yours and remind yourself of it often. Write it down on a post-it and keep it in your workspace so you are constantly reminded of it. Run every decision through it.
Do this and watch everything change.
If you want to know what my why is, check out the About page of my website, it’s written out clearly for all the world to see. That’s how sure I am of why I do what I do.
Now, go get yours written down and then let me know what it is! I would love to know what guides you in your business. Let’s hold each other accountable!
