Slow Growth is Still Growth!
We’re a society that is OBSESSED with instant gratification and rapid results. We’ve glorified overnight successes.
But we’re not here for quick fixes, short term success or instant gratification.
We’re here to build rock solid, super balanced, totally unshakable, insanely fun, completely balanced businesses. Sometimes that happens quickly, in a few weeks or a few months, but sometimes that takes longer.
AND THAT’S OKAY.
Slow growth is still growth, and that is actually the goal. To keep moving forward, to continue building a business you love…for the long haul.
If you are trying, if you are doing the work, if you are showing up, if you are staying persistent – you are a success! Most people (like 90% of people) never even try, never show up and quit before they succeed.
Business building is a long game, there is no race to the finish line.
So if you think you’re growing slow --- KEEP GOING.
In fact, I want to kill the phrase “slow growth” it’s simply GROWTH.
Also, let’s think about growth in other areas of our life –
What if over the course of 40 years you grew your 401k to 10M. Pretty freaking good, yes?
What if over the course of 6 months you lost 30 pounds? Awesome, right?
What if over the course of a year you shaved 3 minutes off your 5k time? Hell yes, yeah?
What if you finished college in 5 years? Rockstar status, amirite?
What if you got a promotion after 2 years? Shots, shots, shots, shots, yes?
So why do we put ALL this freaking pressure and unnecessary expiration dates on our business goals and dreams?!?
There is absolutely no need to. You are right on time. You are progressing perfectly. You can’t miss what’s meant for you. Every step forward, every move in the right direction is bringing you exponentially closer to your long term goals.
Let’s normalize growth, AT ANY PACE. Kk??
